About Aero

Conceived by Uber co-founder Garrett Camp, Aero began as a software platform to simplify the booking process of private jets, aiming to become the “Uber for jets”. Tapping into growing frustration around the commercial air travel experience, the Aero business model evolved as a solution to bridge the gap between private charter flights and first-class airfare with “semi-private” flights. Aero launched with scheduled service between Mykonos and Ibiza, becoming the first to fly directly between the two islands.

In 2021, they recognized a similar opportunity to provide semi-private flights connecting travelers to coveted leisure destinations in North America. Aero established their flagship private terminal at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles. Aero now offers nonstop flights every week between Los Angeles and Los Cabos, Aspen, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and New York City. Seasonal flights are also available to Sun Valley, Thermal, and Napa.
